I write page-turning, genre-bending novels like my action-packed Lily Wong mystery thriller series about a Chinese-Norwegian modern-day ninja from Los Angeles who rescues and protects women and children from violent situations while negotiating a close-knit yet complicated mixed-race family.
Empowered women, diverse cultures, fast-paced action, complex family dynamics are running themes in my work, including my recent Brazilian dark fantasy, DANCE AMONG THE FLAMES, about a desperate mother rises from the slums of Brazil to seek empowerment and revenge through Quimbanda black magic. My shorter works range across mystery, thriller, literary fiction, horror, and fantasy genres.
