What a thrill to be back on television, not as a series regular on The Love Boat or the other guest starring or re-occurring roles I’ve done on other shows, or even competing on Star Games (That was a kick!) but as an author for my latest Ranger Makalani Pahukula Mystery, HAWAI‘I RAGE. Host Lacey Evans was so gracious and fun. I even managed to tone down my usual animated enthusiasm and relax. Heck, I look down right poised. LOL!

Portland Bookstore Event:
I had a delightful duo-author event with my new kanaka maoli author friend Shay Kauwe the night before at Annie Bloom’s Books. We had a blast talking story about how we integrated our Hawaiian culture, language, and wisdom into our books.

I have a few more days of writing to finish up my novel-in-progress before I join the Tuscon SinC on Saturday, June 20, as a guest speaker on “Balancing and Emotion for Pace.” If you’ve read my work, you know it’s a major focus for me. I look forward to sharing some of my discoveries with them. (Message me for info if interested)
I can see the finish line ahead. Just two more weeks of frenzied writing, webinars, and interviews, and I can turn in this manuscript, finish up my book launch, and take a mini summer break.
I can almost feel it: sleeping in until 6 a.m., reading books, mountain hikes, lollygagging about. Yes, please. Sign me up!
